I just made this short Sales Tip video on finding out on your prospects ‘DESIRED SITUATION’
This mistake is all too common – people talk about them, them, them and their offering, rather then
truly investing the time to work out their prospects desired situation and if their solution can even help
them achieve this vision!
This is WAY too important, especially in your first initial conversation with a prospect – the only reason
they’re going to consider your offering is if they feel it is a useful solution to help move from their
current state to their ideal dreamed state.
Your goal as a salesperson is to not close them on your offering (I know that seems counter-intuitive),
but rather to close them on your offering being a catapult towards their vision.
